Our group has started its first commercial activity thirty years ago, in Istanbul, Turkey. In 1998 it has started producing IR heating elements with a special wire wound, which was designed and developed in house, and introduced these electric heaters to the customer under UFO brand.
Thanks to the economy, efficiency and environment-friendly operation, the heaters received a big demand from Turkish, Russian and Ukrainian markets. In a very short time UFO became the market leader in these countries. Apart from the consumer products UFO transferred this technology to another company in the group i.e EMKO for industrial applications. Today we are providing heating solutions to many customers in plastics, automotive, glass, wood-working, food ,textiles etc. industries.
Due to continuously increasing energy prices and the hazard to the environment, caused by fossil fuel, new heating alternatives gain gradually more importance. Heating with electricity, the only energy type which doesn’t have any waste, does not pollute the environment, obtainable by renewable energy sources and the most efficient, most advanced type of that, Infrared heating is introduced to the consumer use. UFO begins heating in such a short time as 27 sec., that it converts 94 % of the energy it uses into heat by infrared luminescence, UFO is efficient; it prevents waste of energy and helps avoiding environmental pollution. UFO heaters heat directly the persons and object without heating the air in the environment and without causing energy waste. Compared with traditional heating systems, they are up to 80 % more efficient. The increasing energy demand of our world and in opposite, decreasing energy resources, forecasts that the heating systems of the future will be electricity weighted.

The company carries on its operations on a facility which has 8000 sqm closed 12000 sqm open area , with 200 employees. The annual capacity is 1.5 million IR heating elements and more than 2500 industrial heating systems.
